The Datafabrix Gen4 Fabric Backplane, offered as a customisable building block for OEMs and hyperscalers who want to differentiate at the system level.
OEMs and hyperscalers building differentiated systems need building blocks — not finished products. Datafabrix offers our Gen4 Fabric Backplane under OEM co-design and licensing.
Co-engineering, form-factor customisation, firmware branding, joint qualification programs, and a supply-chain partnership — everything an OEM needs to build a differentiated system on a proven fabric.

The block diagram shows the OEM Infrastructure Platform as a customisable reference design. The Datafabrix Gen4 fabric backplane is the invariant core. Around it, OEM partners select the compute module (Xeon or ARM), storage layout, network personality, and mechanical form factor. Firmware branding, DCIM integration hooks, and telemetry namespaces are configurable. The output: an OEM-branded appliance built on a proven, characterised Datafabrix core — with far less engineering risk than starting from silicon.
The connection diagram maps the OEM co-design programme. The OEM ships their spec, the Datafabrix engineering team produces a schematic + BOM around the Gen4 fabric core, and sample units flow back for OEM validation. Once qualified, the platform enters OEM manufacturing under their brand. Datafabrix continues to supply the fabric core, firmware updates, and DCIM integration. Use this diagram to plan the engineering-to-manufacturing handoff and long-tail firmware support commitments.

Not every system builder wants to consume a finished appliance. OEMs building storage arrays, hyperscalers building custom fabric designs, and platform vendors building differentiated infrastructure all want the fabric IP as a building block.
The Datafabrix OEM Infrastructure Platform is our Gen4 Fabric Backplane, offered under an OEM co-design and licensing engagement. We work with your engineering team to adapt the reference design to your chassis, your connectors, your firmware branding, and your supply chain.
Joint qualification, escalation support, sustaining engineering, and roadmap alignment come standard. This is a partnership, not a component sale.
Ship an OEM product 12+ months faster than in-house fabric development.

White-label PCIe infrastructure platform — custom faceplate, slot count, and branding for OEM programs. The solution slots into a standard 19-inch rack alongside your existing servers, storage, and network fabric — no re-architecture required.
Target deployments: System OEMs and hyperscalers who want the platform, not the multi-year silicon program.
Slide the DF-S08 chassis into a standard 19-inch rack slot. Rail kit included. Cable to your PDU and management network.
Install the Datafabrix PCIe host adapter in your existing server. Connect via PCIe cable to the DF-S08 backplane uplink.
Insert NVMe drives, GPUs, or accelerators into hot-plug slots. Each device trains and appears as a native PCIe endpoint on the host.
Optional: connect to Datafabrix DCIM for fleet-wide visibility. Add more chassis for horizontal scale — no host reconfiguration.
Direct rack integration alongside your existing production servers. Turnkey in a single deployment window.
Scale from a single chassis pilot to full-rack production with zero architectural change.
OEM-ready configuration for organizations building their own branded infrastructure products.
Engineering pilots, reference designs, and OEM co-design programs — we work with your team from concept to production.
